Quality and Accreditations

It all started in a manufacturing unit in Newtownards, County Down, in 1994. A small, hard-working team, making tasty sandwiches for distribution to local shops, caf├ęs and garages.

Almost twenty years and countless sandwiches later, our working practices and the capability of our operation have changed dramatically, as we now serve a large number of customers throughout Ireland.  Our work ethic and our commitment to quality, taste and freshness remain the same. We are still an independently owned local company.

Perhaps that's why we're now one of Ireland's most respected food-to-go companies, with a chilled range that includes fresh sandwiches, rolls, paninis, wraps, baguettes, hot and cold pasta meals and fruit salads.  Frozen items include paninis, wraps and toasties.
Today, an eclectic mix of discerning companies, large and small, are joined in their appreciation of our good taste.  From leading airlines, retailers and convenience stores; to food service operators and coffee shops, you'll find Brunch Box products generating satisfied customers... optimising turnover... and maximising profits.

Our recipe for business success

The Brunch Box is made up of so many first-class people, and from top manager to food technician, everyone integrates four key principles into everything we do for you:

  • 1. Taste and Quality

These underpin everything we do and we apply them rigorously to all our products.

  • 2. Service and flexibility

We're independent, so we can respond to your needs quickly, whether it's for bespoke/complex orders, or time-sensitive delivery slots.

  • 3. Competitive Pricing

We're dedicated to value. We constantly monitor and improve our systems; we benchmark our own and our suppliers' activities. The result: competitive pricing and value for money.

  • 4. Innovation

We're often imitated, but never bettered. Why? Because we don't stand still. We've moved from a predominantly sandwich focus, to being acknowledged innovators in the wider food-to-go market.

Quality and Accreditations

Endorsing and protecting our quality. In our line of work, self praise is no praise. We are only as good as our last sandwich.

That's why we put our faith in undergoing independently audited professional assesments.  But achieving and sustaining quality standards and accreditations isn't solely about meeting our corporate and legal responsibilites - important as these are.  For us, it's also about the protection and integrity of The Brunch Box product.

We participate in third party audits from accredited technical bodies, as well as from our customers.  Our accreditations include BRC, BSA, RSPO and known supplier status.

Where you need it, when you need it.

The most delicious sandwiches in the world are tasteless, if they're not where they're supposed to be. . . when they're supposed to be there.  In other words, 'just in time' logistics are key to what we do.  Distribution is an area of our business we take very seriously.  What's more, we're very good at it, with service levels across our chilled and frozen divisions in excess of 99.5%.
